I'd Just like to say that I recently returned the Macally TRIHUB7 USB port because it doesn't work with the Vestax VCI-100SE and it certainly doesn't work with any USB soundcard.

just ordered the same one. Called my friend who is working at logitech to ask about the converter. He told me there was one converter per usb slot.

Thanks for mentioning that - this was the one I was thinking about getting. What did you end up going with?

Just did a little research. Here's a great article explaining the design and performance differences of both a single tt and a multi tt hub. They also ran benchmarks. What really sucks is both of my hubs use the same stupid single tt gl850a chipsets. (just opened and checked) And I'm sure that's why i sometimes have problems w/ my vci (w/ ac adapter) and audio 8 on the same hub. I guess I'm going shopping.

I like it because it's 7-port but has the detachable section that is a portable non-powered 4 port hub which is great if I'm using/programming just my controllers I can just grab it off and take it with me. While the base is powered the 4-port portable hub is not, but can still power my 3 Nanos and my PadKontrol with no problem at all and no latency that I can feel.

Well true tuna, I just ripped open the 3rd usb hub I've owned. The third I own is a Belkin, slightly different looking version of yours, and it's chipset is a GL850G. Still a single TT chip. So, here's the stackup of hubs i own: Macally 4port i own Uses a Genesys Logic GL850A as well as my Vantec 4port. The
Belkin uses a different revision (hence the G) of the chipset but still very similar design. I assume the differences are a smaller manufacturing process. I am assuming this is a popular chipset for manufactures.

From that, it suggests that there is only one Belkin Multi-TT Hub, the TetraHub 4-Port. The 7-Port version of that even doesn't sound confirmed.

I think we are up to 3 confirmed Multi-TT hubs now?
