I'd go for the 850 due to the fact that while the spinning platter is cool, any time you go to play out you'd end up using a stationary platter which would just be annoying. Beside, if you want shit to spin get a turntable :P

same goes for the 850s.
The advantage of the 3700s is they look nicer because they have the vinyl top, and they have the hybrid timecode mode, and they have a few more features like cue points.
My good buddy has a pair of 3700s but I preferred the feel of the 850s more. If you come from a turntable background you'll appreciate the 3700s more, but it will be quite a bit different from using Pioneer CDJs
