Oh, so that's the purpose of the soundcard in the S4 ... to cue up tracks or are there any other benefits?
to have inputs for mix, turntables/cdjs, line inputs, headphone cueing, much better sound quality and performance.Quote:

Computer builtin soundcards usually only have one input and one output too so there's no way to listen in your headphones something different than what is in the speakers. The S4 will have several input and output options just like a real mixer would so you can have different tracks routed to your headphones and your main output (speakers). And as to your other question, a lot of people just use cue points; that works fine if you really know your music but in general it's better to check on headphones what things sound like before you blast it through the speakers.
