I completely concur that this isn't the best method, however, in the nanopad's favor I will say that using a touch pad to control fx is much better than a knob. You can control 2 fx with one finger + use you other free hand to twiddle the remaining two knobs (obviously though only one at a time) :( . This allows for a greater control with the fx. Using modifiers so that you can quickly change which two knobs you want to grab increases this further. The only downside to the touch pad is that unlike a knob it won't keep the position for you if you don't know where it is (I believe they call this hard takeover or something). Not that I would buy the nanopad for this reason alone, but if you have em use em so to speak. I will probably map the nanopad to ableton and use the touchpad to control smart mixing and some other stuff in there, if I can achieve that kind of level of control over Bento's smart mixer, afaik it is based around knobs and might not be controllable to a good level with only the touch pad. My nanopad mapping will definitely have a preset fx bank, which also simultaneously modifies the touch pad.
