Its just an example of how the Russian government keps control of the people. Always going over the top. Remember the Moscow theater? 50 Chechens took over a theater with 800+ people in it in 2002. When the Russian military was done, almost all of the Chechens were dead and 120+ of the hostages because they pumped the place with a nerve agent and raided it. \\
You dont mess around with Russia. (Or so in the west im lead to believe) Wouldnt pull my bits out in a church though just for shock value.

Yeah, thats for sure. No messing around in Russia like in the west.
Russian people are also brainwashed pretty good starting from 1917 and ending around the beginning of the nineties.
There is even a certain group of population who don't even want freedom of speech and are still
in favour of communism and bringing back the USSR.
