NI says to use a audio 10 to sync to traktor due to the midi implementation on the audio 10... There's more to this setup like being able to tightly control maschine from within traktor besides midi clock if your read a manual for the maschine it describes this setup...

haven't had a single problem with it and runs traktor like butter. It is now much cheaper so you could probably upgrade it's ram and maybe stick an SSD inside for near a 1000 bucks which is quite cheap if you consider the specs.
