Z2 live input. Traktor FX on real vinyl

Which one is quieter? I mean, it's no different than mixing Real Vinyl & an MP3
(where you have to gain down the Real Vinyl or gain up the MP3) is it?

If one or the other is "extremely" quieter/louder than the other, I doubt I'll
be using that option very much.

Vinyl comes in a lot hotter than MP3's.

Okay, well that's true w' all DVS'.
That's not a problem at all.....already used to that.

Change your virtual deck(s) to live input instead of timecode.

Hotter means quieter?? When I run regular vinyl through the "live input" I have to crank the gain in order to be consistent with the mp3 volumes. Am I doing something wrong? I always assumed hotter meant louder....

You can - if you have real vinyl playing through live input, you can apply traktor effects to it.

Does the same behavior transpire when using WAVs or FLACs?

What I am trying to get at is whether Live Input is something that
"dramatically" heats the signal, or if this is just normal behavior of
all DVS' when you try to mix a Lossy 320 w' an obviously Lossless
Vinyl record.
