Read as much as you can. Learn about the technologies which support DJing; cabling, the specifications of different pieces of equipment, how to fix common problems with drivers and audio setups, etc. The amount of DJs which overlook those key areas is STAGGERING. No club owner (or other DJ) particularly likes having to show a new act the basics of setting up their gear. And if something goes wrong and you don't know how to fix it, you'll look like a noob.

I would suggest getting a kontrol Z1. You'll get a Traktor LE, the mixer and the audio interface under a 200 US.
