I had similar bizarre behaviour with one of my X1 MK2's. Bugged the shit out of me.
Disconnected the X1, deleted the default map for it, reconnected it - solved.

traktor has always done this, I just figured it was a bug. theres also that thing with the x1 mkii that if you turn the browse know too fast it freaks out and starts jumping all over the list until you fully take your hand off it. Something with the touch sensor.
I had this issue ages ago with my denon MC6000... I just had to play around with the speed and velocity settings in the controller manager, now goes one at a time.
