I believe so, once I realized I couldn't use my RMX-1000 as I wanted I gave up on it

You hook the RMX-1000 into the FX Send/Return in the back of the mixer. Went to my pal's place on Saturday night. He has his PX5 running through a set of FX pedals. You can assign them to each channel individually, but only one channel at a time for obvious reasons.
again, that's aux send, not insert... if the FX pedals are something like Reverb/Delay that's fine, but it's a compressor, looper, EQ, , filter or something similar it doesn't work like that
on the top of each channel you see an option to use an "Ext" effect, then a knob below it sets the "FX Send" amount... it's FX send, not wet/dry. There's no option to send to an external effect machine (like the RMX-1000) completely wet. If you look on a Xone 43:C You'll see the the effect knob say "wet/dry", but on the PX5 it's "FX Send" with the send amount being 0 - +6dB, so you can't use the looping, filters, EQ on the RMX-1000
The PX5 is one filter away from being my perfect mixer. That's the only reason I haven't bought one
Hi, you can set channel Send as pre or post fader, that should work for looping/compressors etc
