Yeah but then you're running decks in mono. :(
yeah, mono just sounds dull and gross
I use the table in normal mode and MIDI, 2 Deck in MIDI and 2 deck with my sound card
and it's good .
Not to sure I agree!
I can use a mixtrack and still pay just as much attention to the crowd as if I were using vinyls..
PROBABLY even more time to the crowd because i wouldn't have to dig for vinyls, or even CDs using CDJs.
a lot of people don't realize that it's not the gear that takes the DJs attention off the crowd ..its the DJ themselves
IMO the reason I choose a Club mixer is for its feel.
Compare a Denon/Pioneer/Xone/Ecler mixer to the S4 and you will instantly notice how toy-like the S4 feels.
The extra money for a club mixer is well worth it!
He's talking about the position the DJ will have on stage. The mixer will be dead centre while empty table space for a controller will be off to the side normally.
I'm completely with you about the feel of the mixer though dude! I love my Ecler :)
Of course the sound quality is better with vinyl and classique mixer , But ,Some prefer the controller for their flexibility, just to have a good sound card and good mp3. for me all these preferences and I really like the controller
if we use mp3 encoded in less than 320 kbps the quality is bad ...
yeah.. I wouldn't say sound quality is better.. just different.
Even from mixer to mixer its different.
For example Xone mixers are VERY warm.. even if you play digital tunes you still get that warm feeling.
My Denon is very clean.. both digital and vinyl.
I'm usually not a huge fan of vocals on vinyl.. but I love deep tunes on vinyl.
IMO, some songs sound better digital and some sound better on vinyl..
I don't think any difference in quality is as big as the difference between different kinds of speakers.
the mixer debate is one of the main reasons i want a dc2000 or an x1 for club gigs (anyone selling one in the UK for cheapo holla at your boy!)
i end up feeling a lil' too detached from the audience taking my mixtrack pro :(
yes, according to the tastes are selected controller or mixer classic.
As for me I'll save for a DN-MC6000 or XONE DX. i think this is the best choice
Nope, but I can't scratch for shit so it's a pointless upgrade for me. Wish I could. Trying to scratch just frustrates the fuck outa me maaan
