Ok, so I've looked into it a bit more and there is basically no easy way of adding in a passive sub, other than going down the route of two amps it seems.
So I stand by my other comment, ditch the passive sub and go for a powered one. You will then need to find an amp with a pre-out for said powered sub.
Umm I don't think you looked very far.. the sub has a built in crossover and outputs for the main speakers, its designed to work as a system with the control5's.Quote:

Thanks for all the help. But I got confused reading through all those. I got them second hand all together for 300€ which sounded like a good deal for everything. I would like to spend as less money as possible for a decent amp now. So do I just need one amp like it was told me in the last posts? Which one would you recommend?

If you can afford it, I'd go with the Behringer A500 as its fabless and thus quieter while still packing a punch and gets great reviews.
Or on a budget the Thomann T.Amp E400 you were looking at before http://www.thomann.de/ie/the_tamp_e400.htm might be an option, it has fans however.
Second Hand
Samson/Crest/Crown/Amcron/Rotel/Yamaha etc etc there are a ton of really nice Amps from the 80's too that had loads of power and you can sometimes pick them up on ebay, flea markets and theft shops for pittance.
I would not go anything below at least 100 watts per channel @4ohms (and closer to 200) though as that sub will probably chew up the power if you are going to push it.

Hey! I got my setup now running. I like the sound quality but for me the base is still to low. I plugged the speakers into the SB5. And my amp has no eq. Is there a way i can get the base stronger compared to the high and midrange?
