Novation Twitch....Who Wants One? :)

this gear only works fine in a pro solution amplified buy a mixer, and one of the targets of this gear is that can be use in a pro solution without a mixer to amplify, and even some cases of people amplified with a mixer to compensate the lower output had problems with this had to increase so so muuuuch the gain to compensate, i cant believe that dont worry you guys...

Actually you don't need a mixer to amplify, we suggested that as that's what you would have access to in a club environment.

You could alternatively turn up your amp or whatever it is you're plugging your twitch into.

Turning up the gain doesn't bother me. Nothing bad happens. It's there to be used.

Turn up the gain much more than normal bother me, and this situation maybe happenin in some scenarios..

and novation/serato sell this product as a pro solution even without a mixer to amplify the output lower, bother me more...

But dude, you will always always need a amplifier, no matter how loud your soundcard. You can't say it's an issue as every single speaker you have every come across is powered by an amp, either internally or externally.

correctly but are some discussion about this with twitch because the gain need to be push MUUUUUCH higer to compensate this lower output, and for me this is terrible

But we've already established this can be remedied with standard gain controls...

WHY YOU GUYS MAKING ME WORRIED!?!?! haha my twitch is still on the way and i am pretty confident it's gonna be a good piece and if the sound output is very low as drastically as disco420 is worried it is then i guess i'll have to use it with a external soundcard :/

another thing i was thinking about was the post effects faders, is that a feature you use with traktor too?

I was just about to get the Novation Twitch!! Really, i was going to order i like this weekend. But know what I got in my email? The vid for the new s2. Damn that definitely makes me think twice now. Ribbon strips are cool, but you can't even use the main function of the controller if you don't use the required software.

Right now, since I use Traktor, im leaning a little bit more toward the S2.
