Ohh I don't have a Studio 4a to work with. Sorry.
Shitty Company, Shitty Services. Highly Pissed & Disappointed!
Don't want to come across as a hater but Behringer really needs to sort out some issues, atleast here in India. So for the last 3 months I've been trying to buy a CMD MM-1 Controller. I called the official dealers here in India as listed on the Behringer Website & those guys don't even have a clue that this product actually exists. Forget about not having it in stock or something, whenever I call them they actually argue that this product doesn't exist & I'm mistaken. After telling them to do a google search & find out for themselves they just say a sorry & still have no clue as in when will they be able to stock it. Funniest thing out of all with one of the "Official" Dealers, When they asked me a brief description of the product, I told them that it's a MIDI Controller used for DJ'ing, they replied me with "Sir, Behringer doesn't manufacture MIDI Controllers, I can suggest you some DJ Controllers if you want to DJ"!!! It seems like this controller never really arrived in India & they are late in their manufacturing/shipping process or some other shit.
My question, Why does Behringer give dealership to such fools who have no idea about their own products. It seems that Behringer doesn't give a shit about whom they give their dealership to provided they get their dealership fees. Anyway, I'm sick & tired of endless google searches & calling hundred's of retailers searching for it.
Now I understand why companies like NI have such high sales!
PS: I love the CMD Series, Also Big ups for keeping it in such low costs but my experience has been shitty, i'm sure you can figure it out. Also, Have mailed them, Sent a message on Facebook, No response yet!
It sounds like you're talking to someone who doesn't know what a MIDI controller is. This is unfortunately going to be common for dealers that carry Behringer for the PA and mixers, but don't know anything about production. And I can promise you that no one at Music Group is putting any resources at all towards dealer education. APAC used to have a great sales guy that had his head around things, but he left the company over a year ago and I have no idea now who's in charge.Quote:

It's ironic, really. One of the key drivers in the CMD concept was developing markets (Latin America and Asia primarily). To know that they're still not widely available there makes me sad, but not at all surprised. Sadly this is something I can't really help with (as I'm no longer with the company), but I wish you the best of luck.
Yep, Its sad cos it could have done so well if they would have marketed decently.. I mean NI Products in India are ridiculously expensive so there's a high demand for cheaper yet good products. CMD series perfectly fits the bill that way but none of the pro audio dealers have any clue with the way the company is operating & when the stock is arriving so in general they are avoiding any dealings with Behringer to save their reputation. If you ask them about products from companies like NI, Novation, Akai, Pioneer etc they are always in stock despite the high sales(There is a DJ in every other lane in all metropolitan cities of India) & they offer full tech support & after sales service. What i mean is they are aware of whats happening & whats not. Not to forget, they know their shit, They are full of knowledge, Trust me on that. The management & marketing both are spot on. No doubt CMD series have huge potential & but Behringer has a bad/unreliable reputation now. I'm sorry behringer but you bought this upon yourself.
PS : Can you recommend me any online store in the USA where I can order & get it shipped here. I'm looking for a store who declare the billing value to be 50% (Approx) of the original billing amount like DJ TechTools Store does. This way I can save up some money because customs & Taxes In India are ridiculously high. Thanks anyway :)
Oh man, that's sad. I guess I'll have to map it myself somehow... hope its not too hard :)
Can you tell me how to get the soundcard working? Or It's gonna get signal from iPad as soon as I plug it in through the CCK and split it to master and cue without any problems?
The only store I can think of that might make a deal like that is Unique Squared. I'm sure there are a ton of mom and pops that would, but I've never dealt with them.
