I have been giving some thought to re-mapping some of these functions as I run the launchpad alongside a vci 100 with a slightly adapted djtt mapping. I've been playing about with more control over sample decks, although I hate having to use Traktors mapping screen & I can't seem to find the midi mapping for idiots guide anywhere on amazon! I'd be interested to see what you come up with.

I dont use any of the top/side buttons for the above functions as most of it is mapped to my reloop2.

I have changed the side buttons to quick jump to a pre defined master tempo.

I think a more control over the sample deck would be very usefull. atm i dont really the sample decks as ive got no buttons setup.

Ok so I'm like 80% finished with the rotate remap.(1 turn counter clockwise) the only unfinished are the new 18 pads that I will be dedicating to samples and loop recording. I need some testers to try it out and see how it performs. I have also done much work on the LEDs so hopefully those with issues this will be the proper fix.

-Left Side EQ kills (Bottom 3 Deck B, Top 3 Deck A)
-old master and sync are now browsing features
-Hold modifier toggles between list and tree when held
-Beat Sync is now the Beat Phase Monitor
-Track loading is Modifer+Play (I only allow deck to loaded when stopped)
-Modifier is the same that deletes hotcues

I have eliminated most of those features as I found most werent using them of course as everyone is using different gear my mapping wont cater to all, but with the latest installment there will be more hands on with sample deck control.

Sample decks are going to get a lot more attention this time around. I have 18 free pads just trying to get the best use of these pads only for sample decks.

very cool photo.... i'm always bad at manual focussing when i try to use a really big aperture for a nice shallow depth of field - i need to keep practicing i guess...

i saw carl cox play in kyiv a few years ago... nice place - esp in the center of the city.

Thanks once again for your hard work dude, I've just had a quick play with ur "beta 3" mapping and the 4 sections won't load correctly, TR loads twice even when trying to load TL so I don't seem to get any effects for deck A. I have however spent half hour or so juggling cue points with led feedback and everything seems to be smooth thus far. :)

Yeah I may have exported the the TR twice and named incorrectly. Im almost finished with the full mapping. I have got all the sample pads mapped, now I am just trying to make a modifier to toggle the instant grat fx to decks c and d. May require some time though so here is what I have so far. I will post the final version soon :)

-Modifier+sample trigger deletes sample
-Modifier+sample play=Play type "loop" "one shot"
-mixer toggles between load sample from list when engaged
-sample play top circles
-sample trigger pads bellow
-user 2 currently master bpm tap (will be fx switch for c&d)
