Introduce Yourself - DjTechTools Roll Call!

Hello. I am Thumper of the North. It's been over 20 years since I first got locked in the Acid House, and only a little less since I started DJ'ing. Having stopped altogether (even buying records,) a few years ago following a massive hissy fit, I've recently started again with digital gear, although I've already dug out my beloved 1200s and started buying records again. It's a sickness really. It's been interesting coming back into it all again. Not least because I'm much more sucky than I used to be - and I sucked pretty badly to begin with.

Time was, I would have been found in a club any night of the week, either playing or dancing. Nowadays I'm happy to stop in. Mind you, plans are afoot....

Music? Oh yes. Dirty, dirty acid house and techno. Like you have to ask.

So, I'm actually a metalhead but I love to dabble in EDM. I like working with producing music on computers. I have a VTT-101 I wanted to use for an additional MIDI controller to my setup. I came here for some help with my setup.

Hi everyone! My name's Corann and I produce electronic music with FL Studio. I live near Melbourne, Australia and want to get into DJing locally, at house parties and other small events using Traktor. However, I'm aiming to practise at home for around 6 months-1 year before I start going out to DJ, simply because I know I'm not good enough yet. I'm also considering DJing as a duo, with a friend or something. I enjoy playing most forms of edm, including house, dubstep (not skrillex), dnb, hardstyle, happy hardcore, electro etc. Besides playing, I also listen to most forms of music in general, not just electronic music.
