I like the 'I love techno' and 'Radio Slave' posters.
Modern, simple and effective. And the I love techno is also very colourful which is cool :D

I like the font in #2 (OP) but I agree that it doesn't look 'done' yet.

Honestly, I think a simple black/white, or at least just something that can be reproduced well in black in white is the way to go for small gigs. Maybe its just me.

true, also presses costs because many copyshops ask more for colour copies
