I tried to setup with CDJs and traktor playing back to back with a regular mixer... It's really strange, we need to always be adjusting the levels and the bass output on traktor... I dunno why!

Have never really had a bass problem.. just a problem w/ levels in general.. the Pioneer CDJ's have a really hot output, but I've found that as long as my Traktor gain is set correctly and my sound card (A8DJ) is too, then there isn't a real difference... maybe your playing lower quality audio files???
I think that is my problem, my library isn't for playing live, as I'm still a bedroom DJ, I will buy high quality versions of all the tunes that I will play for an audience, but for now, I'm practicing with lower quality ones (96kbps or 128kbps mostly).
Thank you for pointing that :D
Edit: I'm using the Numark DJIO interface with internal stereo mixing
96/128kbps = ouch
I have come-on to large rigs....with Traktor and Audio 4....no issues.
Pioneer mixer....A&H.....
if you have a 4 channel mixer and an audio 8, use 2 channels for timecode, 2 for regular cds, and it works without a hitch :)
Hi Peeps,
I know they're late but finally I have seen my mate with the pics, had to survive 3 weeks with no internet after moving, only had it at work but no uploads there.
It was a hard night when the a couple of my mates joined me behind the decks!!! Perrrrr-dowwww!!!
One is a pro shot from the club photographer who shot me behind the decks but the other two were taken in the crowd by my mate while I was playin'!!
Told you i would deliver, I also do lamb chicken and fish.
right on man, looks like it was a good time.
