Which is the best design for a DJ-blog

Personally I would go for the second one and as other people said, decrease the size.

i'd go for photo because it feels more personal and has continuity with your profile picture right under it. but i think the header picture is a little overexposed...on the jogwheels and your right hand. you can fix it with photoshop though unless you wanted the glint

i like the page tear on the top right corner. if you wanted to be more whimsical you could reveal something exciting there (like your face peeking at us lol) and put the search bar/language and twitter button elsewhere.

i know this doesnt really have much to do with the layout, but why in your pic you have the power plugged in but not the usb or rca/xlr? I dunno why but little things like that bug me in phothsoots i have seen of djs and whatnot

Good call, but I'm not sure if I'll fix it.
It is a drawing anyways (very exact one) so it doesn't really matter.

That image should really not take up 1/3 of the browser window. Do you need it so big?
