Gianmarco - hey man, I saw JWLS is down here in Miami. Is there a Moombathon scene down here. Tried to do some diggin around and found nothing. Would love to get involved somehow. I saw hat JWLS is a pretty involved with the Moomba move.
I really dont know. I am from miami but im in gainesville for college, so I was never around when moombahton started up.
And yeah its great to see he has been making a name for himself in the scene. you can see him make a small cameo here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0iUs...ature=youtu.be
as well as hear his track "move" in the background somewhere. That was taken during miami music week and nada hosted a moombahotn event. so it might have caused a buzz to lead to there being a moombahton night now. ill ask him to see whats up.
PS: Shameless plug for friends: JWLS and my other friend matt (Van Toth) are part of a duo called GTA (http://soundcloud.com/wearegta) their track "next to us", a dubstep mix of it, "u & i" and a remix of it by Laidback Luke are coming out soon as their first EP on Mixmash records.
im drunk as shit right now.. finshined my junieor year of college and gonna see how this moombachore mix goes down at this party im playng.. ill let you guys know whats up!
I dig the moombah that is more subtle and has more of a world influence, but the high pitched electro drops that fill a lot of the moombah out there kind of annoy the shit out of me lol.
Oh shit, I have never heard of this until now but I am an instafan
Haze is the moombahmasta! Lol Miami represent!!!
I was actually working on a moombahton edit today, this shite is fun to make!
