How do you recover a crowd?

Hmm, that's something you have to work for. It just doesn't grow over night.

Nope, he was an ableton DJ, so there's really no excuse there. He was just too stubborn to switch it up and was more into the music than the party itself. He did do a good job, but got booked for either the wrong time or the wrong party; your choice.

Yo Damien, dont sweat the dj, if he messed up his set by playing crap there is really nothing you can do being that its out of your control. Maybe the guy didnt have anything prepared to play on ableton thats why he kept on play his set. If I was promoting the event I would tell him to change the set or pack his shit (in a nice way)

maybe he always and only plays downtempo kind of music? Not all DJ's play across all genre's you know ;)
