im an assistant manager for a trade company, money is good considering im only 21 and still live with the rents, i also gig on the weekends, i have a fort nightly residency at a local bar, i also dj pubs, weddings etc. im also a qualified plumber, but could never get a job, just finished college as the recession hit. *good times*.
I work in the Treasury Division of the City & County of Denver. Official title is Tax Technician, but work more as a Treasury Analyst...of course I don't get paid for that job class, yet.
I started DJing when I worked for USWest/Qwest IT, as a Process Analyst and Tech Writer fom 98-01. I got laid off and went back to school. Got my first job in finance/banking while I was finishing my BA in Philosophy. I'm also a fairly well known slam poet...actually known better for that than I am for DJing.
I am a SAP FI/Co, SD and Data Migration Consultant for a global management and IT consultancy. I worked for them between 04 and 07 then left as was not enjoying it, found out (to my dismay) that the company who lured me away are even bigger douches so went back to the devil I know last August. I spent most of the winter working in Sweden and will be back there once medical leave ends in 10 days :( I have been enjoying the last couple weeks of 8 weeks off (the first were a painkiller addled haze) and have really been getting into TPro2 and the S4, although I don't recommend having a cervical disc replaced to get some time off unless you really have shit hot insurance!
Pays the bills though and is filling the coffers towards the intended emigration to the southern hemi in a couple of years.
I work aboard these on a daily basis fitting sensors on their nets to help them catch fish! So basically an Marine Electronics Engineer.
