from what i can see the 350 supports more formats, can be used as a controller in the future if you wanted, supports rekordbox, has heavier jogs but no lights on them and more accurate pitch control (possibly).
if it was me i'd go for the 350's just for the controller option and rekordbox compatability - would help if playing out in a club as the meta info will be compatible.
Sounds like a good deal to me!
@zestoi - there is one HUGE advantage to CDJs which everyone seems to overlook and I'm starting to find really attractive- the convenience factor. You don't have to carry a controller, crates of records, cables, controllers, anything other than a few CDs! And when you get to the venue you just stick in the CD and plug in your headphones, record set up time! You try that with any DVS eh? :P
Still I've not used them so I don't know if it's really worth it.

Using high end CDJs as controllers is foolish in my eyes. Those things are so powerful you don't need software. Spesh when working with the new DJMs. Sadly no club will ever have them so it'll be purely a bedroom luxury.
As for rekordbox I think it's an amazing idea, DVS without all the setup, excellent! Sadly those I've spoken to who have compatible CDJs claim it's not very stable.
Not that I see much point in a DVS with CDs... Come on, how hard is it to fucking carry a wallet of CDs?

also i wont be using them as controllers, i decided i will only do cdjs and vinyls, im leaving vinyls for a later time, so i may just be a usb/cd dj for my career of rest of my life =P
true - but i've kind of gotten used to all the effects in traktor and integrating multiple controllers via my own software. but yep would be fun to use them standalone too. if i had the spare cash i'd buy them and probably use them mostly as controllers - but i don't so it's a mute point anyway ;)Quote:

there's definately something cool about vinyl - but controllers have their own merits. i wouldn't rule out any type of control surface (cdj/vinyl/midi controller) if i was you until having tried them
Basically you plug your CDJ into a laptop and you can play tracks on your laptop with the CDJs. It's stupid really since you can just carry a hard drive with all your tunes on and plug that into the SAME PORT and not have to worry about the software crashing.
Currently it's a gimmick.

Get them. That's a good deal on solid equipment. You can find a Zone 22 for around the 240.00 mark. That's a nice set up.
