It was my idea, but I"m totally in favor of it. OOh! Ooh! How about an advanced noob edition that made you choose between sync and effects!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Quote:

I think they have to perfect their audio software before making it audio and video. Honestly I'd trade video for open/much improved HID/NHL support. With the new batch of Pioneer mixers being Traktor certified it would only make sense that they start providing that same level of integration to Pioneer's line of CDJ's.
It would be nice if they also released some kind of music management software, I really HATE having to open Traktor to manage my library. If there was a way to make a management software to do light end tasks that would be great, and that way if they add features we really don't have to worry about it making Traktor less stable.
One minor annoyance in Traktor is that you cannot search multiple subcrates by searching an entire folder. It's an easy fix and would save tons of time. As a matter of fact if they rebuilt the library management within Traktor I wouldn't mind rebuilding my library from scratch (in the event that it wasn't compatible to the old system).
Autogain and the built in limiter also need to learn to work much better. It seems that when I set my master vol lower, Traktor raises the auto gain on my tracks so that what comes out of Traktor comes out at/or as close to 0 as it can get while allowing it to go higher.

Oh, something else... A way to save your collection without closing the program. I've had too many times, one of which was about 10 minutes ago, where I've been working on a set for about an hour and then Traktor glitches, shuts down, and doesn't save the collection, so I just lost all my work. One of the biggest pains I've ever had with Traktor.
This function has been around for a while just sort of hidden. All you have to do is right click your track collection section in the browser and pop up menu opens up and you can pick save collection.Quote:

@Tretuna, couldn't agree more about getting Vestax to make a legit Traktor equivalent to Rane 62/61. Pioneer does have the DJM T1 but it doesn't have the true customization of a scratch mixer (no true fader contour, no post fader fx, stiff line faders) Craze tweeted a while back hinting that he heard Vestax was working on a Traktor mixer but nothing concrete.
