if you notice in my sig i have a mixer that will hands down put the ownage on that djm in terms of scratching, so why on earth would i want to shell out money for that, then have to replace the fader? i appreciate your input , but again i have a working set up here. everyone wants to suggest their idea of a combination of gear that would produce the results im asking about, BUT I ALREADY HAVE THAT lol.. im saying ONE MIXER-4 CHANNELS.. GOOD FADER...MONOME.... that is all. one thing to carry and set up in addition to my TTs.
I'm sure you guys have seen this?

Not enough buttons? Does it need to be a stand alone mixer aswell? I'm sure it's just a matter of time before we see some kind of hybrid.
Yep, this was posted a while back.
I think the new Beringher series covers it too, having the buttons etc.
I would like to see lcd strips that one can stick to a technics 1200 and view the waveforms in traktor.
Or some kind of app that will display them split horizontally across the screen of a smartphone via wifi.
yah ive seen these, pretty interesting, definitely the kind of thing im talking about. im just suprised none of the big names supporting this kind of DJing, ie rane , akai, allen & heath, vestax etc, havent jumped all over the idea. this type of mixer, and even some a little bigger with a few more buttons and channels, would address MANY workflows. properly mapped, it could be used to control everything without timecode, or in conjunction with it.
