so much of making it as a dj isn't about skill, it's really about getting your foot in the door. it's possible that bl3nd may have bought facebook likes to be famous but when you get on stage you still have to deliver. and blend gives his fans what they want to hear. he's even been signed by spinnin' records. it's about getting your foot in the door. i wanna be mad but i can't be.

I think the point that Diplo was trying to make was relevant. It is unbelievably easy to buy fake social media metrics. Which is one of the first things a lot of promotors look at when booking DJs.
