bought a VCI-100 a couple of weeks ago and there are a few little things that I'm not fond of but it will do for now. Also just picked up a set of mackie S5 powered monitors yesterday and they are absoluetly outstanding. I need to hang some mat behind the ports on the wall to kill the bass a little but other than that they are fantasticically balanced and have a clean solid sound. (the speakers are fairly big for a 5.25" at almost 12" tall, but my monitor is a 24" so it makes them look small lol)

next on the list is a new macbook, because windows 7 is causing some major driver issues to the point of me having to reinstall xp, and this OS sucks. hopefully I'll have the $ saved up in a month or two to pick a mac up :D

Thanks JesC, yeah I'm lucky to have a comfortable amount of space to set up in. Also I live out in the country so can turn up the volume whenever I please :)
