Maybe the ohm could take up the job? I've been contemplating a setup back and forth lately but for now I'm using my remote zero and Touch OSC. I'm using touch osc only for loading tracks though. I created a layout for effects but i don't really enjoy using the small screen and constantly changing pages. 4 Decks on the remote is really pushing it for me.
We can't forget the B33SON Video, he was the winner of DJTT competition and he was using 4 decks with traktor 3.4 and only 1 VCI.
Pretty sick set, he's da man:

Agreed!
That was the shit! TOTALLY!
But....remember, he is using the Audio8 and routing all 4 channels to the Xone mixer.
So in essence..not JUST the VCI-100.
This is what i am aiming for.
Seems the best way currently to use 4 decks.
Easy enough to control start stop etc.
But the Channel and EQ controls are now on the XONE.
Makes a HUGE difference IMO.
But still......I watch it once a week!
:)
HEHEHEHE
It could be a good way to be a portable 4 deck DJ right?
Every club has a 4 channel mixer, you can have your 4 channel mixer at home and there is no need to get your mixer to the club because there is one there...
I think B33SON figure out this at that time...
To control separated 4 channel FXs, loops and cue points you could have a unit like VCI or anything else...
The majority of national/international DJs that I see playing with notebook at Brazil uses this setup, even Ean uses it, external mixer + one controller.
The answer is simple, with the full-midi hardware we have at market right now we can't be full-midi-4-decks DJs without the loved and hated "shift" :(
Again, I wish I could have the money and knowlage to build a unit that could achieve what I want in a controller...
