Honestly, I'm a huge fan of the VCI-100, but I'm finding myself distancing from the controls it provides. I don't find its interface logical for "outside the box" DJ use, and that's creating a problem as I want to do more complex things.
I love the unit, and I would recommend it to anyone, but Tekki's kinda right... Jog Wheels are kinda useless (for me) at this point. They just take up space where there could be more buttons, faders and knobs.
I love my VCI-100 and will probably love it even more when I get the SE upgrades for it. I'm looking at the Otus and the VCM-600 right now as means to expand my control surface with Ableton Live.
But right now VCI-100 + Akai MPD24 are a good combo.
I'd have to, there, i dont really use the jogs for much at all and could easily get around with just having a single one - i dont think jog wheels are completely useless even if you are doing unconventional things, that said i dont really think 2 at all one is enough and it should be stuck away in a corner somewhere because it hardly gets touched. The whole 2 decks and a mixer all combined into such a small is a little too much. It does a little bit of everything but is the master of nothing in the end.Quote:

I find the jog wheels very useful. I use them about 90% of the time when I mix music. I also got jog wheel grips but they are falling apart (New thread)
