If you want vinyl control and mix traditionally, SSL is simpler; takes fewer resources; gives you free software updates; and isn't that far behind except for slightly primitive effects and the sample player.
If you want to use Bridge…you probably should just use Ableton. I don't see what SSL adds unless you're scratching full tracks: Ableton is perfectly capable of playing full files.
If you want to use a controller or need tempo-sync'd sample decks but don't want to use Ableton…Traktor Pro 2 is the answer.
And if you want to use CDs to control any of this crap…think seriously about why you want to use that combination. I still can't see the point. Every time I see another DJ play, I think about picking up CDJs and ditching TPro. It adds a good bit, but the more I play with it, the more I find that I just don't care. Maybe sample decks will change that.
