So, realistically, will Spotify help us DJ's to discover new (and current) tracks like Beatport? Or should I continue to sift and filter through my tracks via Beatport?
P.S. Photojojo, you're the man.

Personally, I've tried and tested Spotify. And I just don't like it.
Given I almost exclusively listen to EDM. And I like to stay on the cutting edge of what's coming out.
My friend used it to host up a playlist for a party the other night. It's really good for people whom aren't particularly specialized into any one/two genres of music. It's awesome for the majority of people.
I get really frustrated when I use a service, want to hear a particular track, and can't find it though. Honestly, that's the reason why I just buy my music.
'Round my parts we have a name for the bullshit "DJs" that make the rest of us look bad. We call them Spotify Djs.
That being said, I have the premium and use it all the time for LISTENING to music, never for Djing.
If you like a track and want to download the file you can DJ with, just press the "buy" button on the track.
i use spotify in the car and for others. I used to pay for it, but now get it free with my cable connection. sweet :-)
