Yeah, was a great tute. Slynk's tutorial on drums is also well worth watching.

You can also find a tutorial on his bass design techniques, great watch.

BTW did anybody on here ever contribute to the NSB forum when it had traffic?
I did have a bash over there many years ago. It was pretty popular at the time. Guys like Ben and Lex were pretty prolific over there.
NSB Radio is still pretty good. One guy over there (Doctor Hooka) is REALLY pushing the Ghetto Funk sound. His mixes are pretty damn good as well.
Must admit I stopped listening to it ages ago, but probably more of a time thing. I remember the Autobots and one of the Groove Diggerz used to post there :)
One mix I found on NSB contained a mash up of Rogue Element's rmx of Nitro - Violence and the piano / vocals from FSL's Papua New Guinea... it was GENIUS.
I tend to tune into Llupa's and Roxright's sessions on NSB Radio from time to time.
:o Its almost 10 years since I stopped playing breaks. Great that is still living
FSUK 2 3x12" by Freestylers was in my crate for many years. I think its still the best ever Big Beat/Breaks vinyl compilation made :-)
Last time i saw the Plumps was a while back in Fabric and there wasn't one break played. Was all really electorey and bloody horrible IMO. Stantons just play b-more stuff now which bores me after a while and Evil Nine play house. Hell the only big cats who still play breaks are the Freestylers and Deekline.
Please keep these coming. I'm starting a collaborative Spotify playlist with as many of these tunes as possible. I'll share when it's ready and you all can add to it. I'm so excited!

This is the best bit of breaks i've heard in a while and really brings back that old Stanton sound that got me hooked in the first place. Video ain't too shabby either.
