I've got my decks in battle position on top of two Kallax/Expedit's, but they're not merged together. I've got a Galant tabletop (5 or 6' I believe) on top of them, positioned at an angle beneath for support. Really, you just need to pick up a long enough tabletop to do the deal and place on top of it if they won't fit. And you can get a cheapie for like $30 or so.

And I have actually been told by many women that I have soft hands. :(
