LALz!
Kinda worked out now. The club owner wants us to work together. So yeah, made peace and its going ok. Just going to roll with it and make sure hes not involved in anything else we do.
On a side note he gave me 3 trips for free... bribe or some shit, but meh, free trips are free trips. GF got all paranoid about it tho so I might end up giving them away.
Can imagine... If Evil has provided 'em.
haha yeah tru.

Wow....do people still do that?
I remember starting out in the business and it was commonplace for nights to be started by the club, with a DJ behind it. And the only way to get booked was to either be a guest or pull the rug from under the other DJ and take their job. Now-a-days you tend to make your own jobs, or get asked into jobs. I thought the days of 'gig-stealing' were over, with some mutual respect and professionalism developing in the industry.
....suppose I was wrong!
I had 4 promoters come lastnite where I dj on sundays, and 1 guy kept on asking me what it would take to dj up the street at another club. I kept on telling him that Im 86'ed from there and I can dj there anymore. Im not banned from there, I just dont want to dj there anymore. He insisted that he would take care of that, but I dont like working with lazy promoters that expect the dj's to do the leg work for them.
My question is how to do tell a promoter to f' himself without making urself look bad?
