My question was simple: When pressing hotcue3 for deck A, does it effect for hotcue1 on deck B to play also, since those both share the same MIDI note C#-1? If I managed to overcome this with changing the MIDI channels then it shouldn't. Sorry but I can't formulate this question simple than this.
If still have no clue what I'm talking about than making that video would be the best solution to proceed with mapping.
i think i got it when i press hotcue 3 on deck A nothing happened on the deck B
Is that what you want to know? Last try and i make a video :)
And when you press hotcue1 on deck B nothing should be happening on deck A. If this is the case here then I managed to overcome this stupid multiple labeled MIDI mappings.
What about shift+hotcue to delete it from track?
hot cue 1 on Deck B don't work : /
Too bad... Like I said it's unlikely that will work. Mourning is smarter than the evening, maybe I'll got some better tomorrow.
I understand why nobody like gemini lol
I got a random thought. Maybe your controller is sending same midi note (C#-1) on different channels by itself??
Open controller manager and click "learn", now press hotcue1 button on deck B and take a look at which MIDI channel is that button sending massage trough.
Example: Ch 1.Note.C#-1
I need to know which "Ch" does it display in front of C#-1?
they use the same channel : Ch01.Note.C#-1,
and same for the others by example Ch01.Note.E-1
Have you try to map this hotcue1 directly with controller? Maybe it is only issue with displaying value but software read exact one?
Just find hotcue1 (B) in the list and MIDI learn it with corresponding button.
