Not if it's bus powered
Balls =\
My guess is that it won't be only bus powered, but you'll be able to use an external power supply.
Well, "balls" is not really what I think about it (I looks really nice)... but I thought that someone finally would release a controller with a dedicated analogue mixer section for redundancy.
On the basis that the Xone 2D has an external power supply and a soundcard with fewer ins/outs plus less flashing lights etc, I'd be VERY surprised if it was bus powered.
Isn't the version of the XD with a dedicated analogue mixer just the 4D or did you mean something different?Quote:

£1099!! F U C K M E S I D E W A Y S
Allen & Heath can go eff themselves up the backside.
Whats the fricking point. This is just a 5D or a 4 and a Half D or whatever.
I was expecting this to be a budget version of the 4D for the VCI market.
Forget it.
Was hoping this was going to be a lot cheaper.
Was actually expecting it to come in at around £699, and for that i'd have considered it but £1099?!?! Really need to wait a few months for people to test it out and the software too, i'm guessing like £150-200 of the price is for the software and i'd rather have the option of not taking the software as would want to use it with Traktor. Think this is a definite no goer at the current price...
