im using cdj800mk2 and djm400.. now getting traktor scratch pro, and waiting for the NI kontrol x1, got totally bored just using CDJs.
but still completely new to the MIDI thing, just joined the forum :)

Nobody danced. The place was full with like 3000 geeks at their computers. When I finished I got lots of applauses though...
I spent the first half hour of the event arguing with the so called sound technican because the sound was horrible. When I started noticing the voices of the songs were disappearing I told him clearly: "you got a f*** cable that converts my signal to mono and inverts the phase!!!!" Then they revised every cable and after another half hour they got it right.

haha yeah i was a bit sore the next day, I even had my uberstand with me, just had a load of trouble with power as it was in a squatted strip club and didnt have time to put it up!
That was what I was smelling. ;)

i always bring a second stand for my vci in case the table is to low...man that saved me a lot of trouble!
