Really? It takes a minute or two to re-map some of EQs to all four decks.

you're right! but looking at the layout of the CMD 4A i don't find that so easy! without a shift button and a endless knob like on the S2! there's no easy way of doing it without alter the position of the knob and therefore affect the EQ! the gain knob is something so standard in DJ gear... why not put it there?
Shift + jog relative would be probably the best. I don't know if default mapping already use it for something else thought. 4A is a four deck controller so adding MM-1 next to gives instant control over four channels and ability to re-map EQs for macro effects or what ever you like.
but... i don't see a shift button on the CMD 4A! guess i'll have to wait until they come out and then see the possibilities! the MM-1 with 2 X1's plus a soundcard must be awsome!
It's next to hotcue butons.
Lack of gain knob is a bit annoying but there are a handful of unused controls you could map it to.
CMD Studio 4a doesn't have gain knobs. If you need gain knobs, there are plenty of other controllers out there that support that functionality.
There aren't any unused controls on the Studio 4a unless you choose to unmap them.Quote:
