Yea no doubt. But that won't change how I feel about how I appreciate the fact that if a company has a limited budget, and chooses to make a quality product over just making a so-so product w/ a great expensive and aggressive marketing scheme. Why not start loaning 3900's to the various large music fests such as Ultra? Lots of exposure at these events
Doesn't look bad. I've yet to see a single place with denons in them to ever use, so right now I'm sticking with what I got.
Nothing ground breaking. It all looks pretty much jacked from pios line, slip mode (Didn't even bother renaming it), engine, which is rekord box, and basically almost the same layout as a Pio. The layout I don't mind, or the features, but the display is really lacking in my opinion, I love the big bright display of my 2000s with all the info. I understand for the price these are competing for that, but I mean their top of the line stuff should be top of the line no?
For dj's that use cd's, the screen might be it a disadvantage, but for others it doesn't matter because they use traktor or serato where the wave form is the best.
Naw the tracks come up on the screen man, you can just load a CD with mp3 and have a ton of tracks on them not even need to really label much just a title and you are set. Besides most people who will use these that is not going software will probably use thumb drives.
I still use CDs as well because most places still only have 1000/800s and a big screen makes a huge different in finding a track you want. Reading the whole tag, etc, sometimes artist names are too long, or if you have keys on the tracks they are at the end. The huge display for a cdj just makes finding tracks on a thumb a pleasure imo. It was the main reason I went with mine.
