You can map things in Serato DJ.
Right?
I'm not really a fan of this as you are going to trigger the touch switches anytime you use the eq's. It could definitely make sense on effect specific knobs and I really liked the idea for the novation nocturn until I found out it didn't work that way, but in numarks own words "you can use your imagination" that pretty much means 'we don't really know what this would be good for, but it's there so buy it'
I think at this rate controllers shelf life is getting shorter and shorter as all companies are doing is sticking on shiny things to grab your attention and I don't think any of these will put a dent in future sales of the DDJ-SX as it doesn't look garish, is built solid and has everything you could ever need.
Those Akai Headphones look pretty freaking solid
The wireless active speaker systems look pretty nice too, ideal for weddings/parties where running cables can be a nightmare.
I totaly agree the DDJ SX is big but light witch makes it (kinda) portable while NS7 II is heavy and not something I would like to carry around.
Touch sensetive eq you will need a modifier of shift comand to deside between the 2 options. Only thing I like better on the NS7 II over the DDJ SX is the touch strip with LED's to show posision of song.
Of all the Numark devices Orbit looks like something I could add to my setup and for $99 heck give me 2 of them.
The Gemini G4V looks more apealing to me then the NS7 II

Sexy isn't it? I think it'd make a really nice partner for a live-playing style DAW like Renoise or Ableton. One thing I really like about it is the LED touch strips- you can have multiple banks of volume faders for mixing down a track without having to worry about resetting the fader position when you switch banks.
I really think Livid have out done themselves here :)
And an in-browser editor. Does that mean no crappy config hardware is required? Hooray!
