And, uhh……I've owned 3 Macbooks and a Macbook Pro……and had 3 dead CD/DVD+-RW drives. I think there's something wrong with their supplier. Fortunately, other than vinyl I hate physical media with a passion, so I've stopped caring.
I replaced my CD drive with an HDD. Don't see the point of having an optical drive these days, software can be downloaded from manufacturers and who buys music CDs.
