Sadly there's no user option to switch from post to pre fade fx on the DB4, how ever one of the xone guys at BPM told me they can do it for you. I'm sure they will eventually have Two different firmwares for either options so the user can just select what they want. I did ask why they couldn't simply add a pre or post fade select in the menus but apparently it isn't that simple, at the end of the day its got a digital heart and an awesome team behind it so anything could happen with future firmware updates.
having three different modes put in the fun into producing out sounds in tracks out of the db4. u'll be surprise what will come from the db4. the possibilities are very wide. theres is so much anybody can do with a db4. and i bet with the db2 it's very much the same too.
So I have been tracking the price. I see it all over now that it will sell for about 1190 Pounds exluding tax. That's still a shit ton. What is that, like $1800???
so? Obviously sounds better than ANY Pioner, better built, better everything.
You got for what you pay for.
You can still wait for Behringer copy/paste :D :D :D
I was expecting ~$2000 so that price point doesn't seem unreasonable
You gotta love how Traktor has Xone filters, Xone filter 92 lfo effect, Xone filter 92 effect, and Xone EQs but NI won't certify the DB4 for use with Traktor Scratch.
I wonder if they will add some DB4 effects in traktor before they certify the mixer.
