With multi touch LCDs coming out for a fraction of the price I'm sure we will see some awesome opportunities that will make the Lemur obsolete. I mean you could just use it as is to control things on screen and I'm sure people will build open source controller interfaces for different programs.

well maybe so. putting my money on the critter till a more affordable one comes out. i can agree that gear does get updated and synthesized from other developers :D

What model is your laptop and can you post the specs..im on the hunt for a good lappy for my vci.. :cool:

T61 it is.

Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T5700 @ 2,20GHz
2GB RAM
180GB HDD
Placed an ultrabay slim HDD adapter in it with an addtitional 500GB SATA HDD.

Although the notebook never let me down on a gig and gives nice performance I think it's too expensive for what you get.

A nice thing about Lenovo-notebooks is their System Update software which updates drivers and all Lenovo programs you installed on it.

Got it for free from my company so I won't complain.

I'm actually thinking about buying a Macbook. Although I don't like Apple too much for DJs it seems to be the better option.

Lenovos and t61ps are great. Side note, any laptop with 3gb of ram and a core 2 duo or better processor is more than good enough to run any DJ software, nothing more to it.

What i thought.I was looking at a lenovo laptop the other day at the store,really nice laptops.Might get one,but im torn between lenovo and a dell.Not still sure what to get.
