hey guys,
i downloaded the link (from djtt webpage) for the s2 mapping but somehow got the s4 instead?
now when i try to re-click the link to d/l the s2 mapping, it says i'm already registered and wont allow me to download again.
any ideas on how to get Ean's mapping for the s2?

I'm new to the DJTT Community but i'm using the S2 and the DJTT mapping for 2 Months. :)
I figured out the all the bugs mentioned in this thread and made/make an updated mapping to fix these. (Also added some new features)
What i've already done.
1) "Fixed" the Master LEDs. So you see the PGM
2) Fixed the "Deleting a hotcue when loading a sample" Bug.
3) Mapped Access to Hotcues 5-8 on both decks when you press the "Engage C"(for Deck A) and the "Engage Deck D" (for Deck B). You can enter the sample Mode by pressing shift + Engage Deck C or D (C for Deck A, D for Deck B).
What i'll make soon
1) Today I'll fix the BeatJump so you can jump the number of beats which the loop size indicates.
2) Maybe i'll think of some functions for better Sample Deck Control. (Have to think how i can do this best, and still keep the mapping as simple as possible)
3) I'll try to remap the hotcues slots so that the LEDs are blue for Hotcues and green for Loops. (Haven't tried something like that yet :confused:).
My Goals:
1) Fix the known Bugs of Ean's mapping :rolleyes:
2) Add some "cool" :cool: features
3) Keep it as simple as possible :p
Please post some wishes which i could include in the mapping.

Does anyone else have a problem with the "Right Loop Size" knob? mine jumps values like crazy. sensitivity is at 100% and accel is at 0%; same as the left one. But the left one work normally while the right one is retarded.
Solutions?
next edition would be nice to get that echo and slicer what you had in vci100 mapping on earlier traktor that is only thing I miss from vci. otherway I'm starting to bond with this mapping too, only problem I am having is that crossfader problem mentioned earlier.

Just got the s2 bundle with the chroma caps, mapping and powertools yesterday. Awesome so far!
Just one thing...My S2 map is really really buggy/acting weird. The search knob moves every 2 tracks, so I can only select every other song. The fader fx jog wheel function works, but the jog wheels still also function as normal as well (as in at the same time- so when I use the chained effects, it also plays with my tempo....). I also see that the jog wheels are like super sensitive or something now...moving any part (top/side)of the jog wheel moves thru the track at super fast speeds and doesn't stop when I let go of them. Finally, my gain knob has become a gain AND filter knob...so when i use that knob, both gain and filter change. The LEDs next to the faders also both light up, but I see that is a fixable thing.
I'm hoping there is a quick fix for these problems I'm having. I'd really rather not have to change a lot of the map settings, mostly because I can't seem to figure out the interface/ commands unless given specific step by step instructions.:confused:
Hoping someone out there has a solution for me, I don't want to just start changing map commands and seeing what happens.

Try importing the map twice using the import button at the bottom of the preferences window, then restart Traktor.
Hi, i will keep this quick and simple so you don't get bored lol. I have the Kontrol S2 with Ean Golden Map, can you please tell me how:
1. How do I use/activate fx 3 and 4?
2. When I load the map, my effects are not the same as the one's on Ean's vid, how do I get these exact effects?
Regarding anyone questioning the link to the S4 map sent in the confirmation request e-mail... The S2 map link is sent AFTER you confirm via the confirmation request e-mail ;)

I have had a problem with the gain knob since setting up the DJTT S2 mapping. It is "stuck" requiring shift + knob to control the gain function. I have verified in settings -> Traktor Control S2 that Gain(shift:Filter) is selected. I have even tried to select it the other way Filter(shift:Gain) and still the same result; I need to hold shift to get gain functionality.
Any idea on how to fix this? I assume it is a mapping issue. I tried reverting to the default mapping but I have either somehow deleted it or the DJTT mapping is overriding it. Under Settings -> Controller Management I have two device options: (1) Pro 2 default mapping - generic keyboard (n/a, n/a) and (2) DJTT S2 mapping v1.1 - Traktor.Kontrol S2.User (Kontrol S2, Kontrol S2).
Any thoughts on that? Seems like I deleted something.

Any one else noticed that when you try to download the S2 mapping from DJTT they link you to the S4 mapping?
