Because they work in both directions based on 2 different variables. Basically offers you 2 versions of each effect.

They said they would open them up to be map-able. It makes more than enough sense to do so, especially considering Maschine owners shouldn't be shit on like they currently are.

Damn I wrote that backwards... I meant to say my Macro FX parameter defaults at 0 instead of 50, which makes no sense at all.

It realy looks like it depends what controller you mapp it too. I tried mapping it to eq knobs on my VMS4 and they loaded default to 0 but then I mapped them to F1 and they now load depending on the knobs possion.

In preferences, uncheck the box that says something like "Reset FX Parameters when switching FX". Then if you have a macro FX with param knob at 50 and switch to another macro FX, the param and D/W etc. will stay at the values you specified.

Is there a FLux Mode button on the UI? I can't see it anywhere...I see it in the controller manager as something I can map...but am away from my controllers right now and wanted to test it out before I went to the trouble of mapping it.

now, it's going to feel like a loooong day here at work! :(

No I can't find it anywhere so it need to be mapped. I've tried it and it works as expected.

Found Flux mode in GUI in deck select drop down
FX also have a dropdown to select group/single --Insert/Post fader/Send

I have a gig Friday and Saturday but I really want to try 2.6 out! Can anyone confirm if its stable aaaaaand should I jump the gone and update ASAP?
