APC80 Controlled Demolition Edition

no rocket science, just made a big tank out of two small tanks. they're connected internally (4 small screws, 2 fat ones) and externally (bottom steel plate), seamless and sturdy as hell. at the moment each unit runs off a separate power supply and they're connected via a passive usb hub (no better solution for that I guess), but it works - and I'm currently digging through the awesome possibilities within maxforlive and looks like I'll be getting a one-off faceplate from djs face :D

I thought that was a photoshopped picture then holy crap it hit me, that's the real deal. NICE!!

Pretty Bad Ass but wouldn't it be APC60?

I can control 80 clips, hence apc80 :)

I hope I can get around to recording a short demo before my next gig.

Love it - this is the coolest mod I've ever seen. You could have 2 instances of MLR running on 2 separate Ableton live tracks! How awesome would that be?

I have it on good authority that they are working on the support materials for the control_surfaces elements as we speak, this should make things easier...

Yes. Im pretty sure it would. :D

haha midi can control everything if you have the script knowledge to control it ;) But it isn't as versatile as the osc messages that platforms such as the Monome sends.

Why not just try to work on the remote script so that the coloured box is large enough to cover all 80 clips?

it's already been done - live 8.1.4 went from beta to rc today :)
