I wont need a MIDI controller till maybe February. Im thinking of holding out until then in case a new controller is announced/released. I know NAMM is coming up... u think new ones will debut there? or will the VCI-100 be king for a while.

I am hoping more controllers like the EKS Otus, Stanton SCS.1d/1m and the Numark NS7.
Really love these kind of controllers.
*Drools* over the Eks Otus especially the RAW...ive been waiting forever for the release and wanted to pick one or two up for my self but now that ive gone to the Ableton side the jog wheel is of no more use to me, it would serve a purpose as eye candy tho. Hmmm maybe i should give Traktor a try.
I am more interested in new controllers as opposed to reappearances of last NAAM's controllers. Theres no doubt the big boys will release some new stuff that will keep us drooling for the next the next show.
Well, I would love to have a MIDI controller combining the following:
- Korg Zero8 hybrid mixer with integrated high end soundcard
- Korg Electribe (the ones with the valve and the ribbon control)
And maybe add some additional rotary encoders to that.
But as long as that won't happen, I will stick to "let's see what the competition pits against the Stanton, Vestax and Numark controllers". ;)
what about the vestax vcm600
It's cool, but it already has featured on quite some music events. (NAMM, Musik Messe etc etc)
So it's not really news.
I would consider Maven finally releasing their "Control"- lines more a headliner than finally a release date for the VCM-600.
Maven is a brand? I thought that was the name of the controller itself.Quote:

Maven are the people who made the controller for Sasha if I am correct. ;)
Most people call it the Maven controller, while it is called Maven Control on the product itself.

Just read on Skratchworx that Hercules is releasing the control steel. Which is the RMX but without a sound card. And it doesn't look so... silver.
Not that new is it, or isnt it avaible yet in the US?
I do think it wasn't untill recently. We dutch have all the luck. ;)
mm hercules looks ok...i wish there was a dj controller modeled like this or the vci100 but with more knobs for customization...i feel like these layouts are too strict or atleast counter intuitive in that the design follows the same template as so many other controllers which i guess is the standard dj controller.
Hercules is French....
Hercules is Greek. :p
LoLz.. no no no, that is Heracles.
Hercules is Roman. ;)
Damnit Tekki, you beat me to it!
Oh, Hercules is the Roman word for a Greek person.
What ever. He has a sword.

Hercules is the Roman name for the mythical Greek hero Heracles, son of Zeus and the mortal Alcmena...
A sword but no midicontroller, what a loser :p
I so wish I had photoshop on this computer. Damn.
hahahahaahaha
That's awesome.
10us, you win the internets
Haha thats great, nice job.
That should be the new logo of NAMM. Anyone second?
That should be the new DJTT logo!
We could have Hercules pushing the play, pause buttons. Compromise is good. lol
Or Hercules wearing the new dj tt t-shirt..
YES! We need Hercules wearing the DJTT shirt holding up the black VCI-100 with arcade mods.
That a good compromise, Tekki? Or am I still a heathen?
Here he is...
(yes I know it doesn't have the arcade mod)
Haha man thats great! Nice job!
That should be at the beginning of every post that is referring to Hercules anything.
Logo looking nice, but Mr Hercules looks a little "Metro" in my book.
LOL. He is very metro... he's Roman... And a warrior... I'm sure he has 12 little boy servants. :D
That's quite cool actually. :D
And heathen? Mehhhh, you're just too cute. ;)
Awesome bro'!
Oh my gosh, that so reminds my of that song "Alter boy" by that standup comedian.
I'm sure I can find it at youtube, but atm I am too busy reading up on some system soon to be implemented.
