still don't get what's so good about it...
i doubt they will have that much practical use, but they look awesome
I find them useful with tracks where the waveform all looked fairly similar in TPro, even though there were some sections which were quite different (more bass or something) - the new coloured waveforms make it easier to identify these sections.
It makes things look pretty. That's all that matters in this world. I am not being sarcastic. Look at hot chicks, they don't have to do anything to get what they want. Fucking bitches. I hate them all.
Personally i think colored waveforms is good for sectioning songs and knowing where certain phrases are just by looking at the waveforms. But pretty colors are totally cool regardless.
I think they look great, sharp enough, and really help clarifying song structure.
Actually, I don't like them, they are too detailed...I guess it's just me but I liked it better when i could physically see what's happening and less of this spectrum ideals...oh well.
Thought you could turn them off?
I defo think i'll like em
wait another T2 thread.
bleh. deckadance has had them for fucken ages and no one uses that
What, no pictures?

:o the colors!!!!
gonna run with x-ray i think
Damn, the finer waveforms don't work so well if the track is quiet. I can work around this with mp3gain for uh, the mp3s, but not sure how to work that out with my collection of flac files - some off sites and some off vinyl.
I don't really want to pump the tracks in Soundforge or so and kill the dynamics just to get waveforms which aren't tiny...
X-ray user here.
Spectrum all the way :D
