I never really thought of a DJ name as something you actively think up and come up with. It's just kind of something that sticks ya know? Like literally my DJ name is just a nickname that formed after one ridiculously drunken night and it's worked out pretty well
I had been dj-ing for almost a year and a half before I finally came up with that name and had done several parties with my first name as my dj name. Those kind of things don't just happen instantly but are born from experiences...
Alright but enough philosophy here are some suggestions. first of all what kind of music and stuff do you spin?
J-Truth is pretty sick... how bout something like Kid Solo??

Scratch Djs have always been hung up on star wars references, glad to see that hasn't changed... And too bad "Darth Fader" is already taken.
Gotta say, I like "Hoth". Without "DJ" in the front, in my opinion.

I never liked the DJ part in front of my handle....and i started in the psy scene and they don;t do the DJ so and so thing...so i lucky never had it attached.

There was an article on the main page where Ean wrote about the theory of DJ names and their success.
Historically, if you are a hiphop/scratch Dj, I would keep it, it's a cultural thing. But in dance music, usually you want to give off the impression that you not only DJ, but also produce original music. Hence people tend to leave it out.
But anything goes, as long as it's a concious choice...

Usually the initial few ideas are lame....so don't rush the choice.
