Although the person who died in Dallas was 19 years-old (as compared to the 15-year old who passed away in LA), are events like these cause for concern? Can Americans just not handle their drugs?
I feel these events should continue but organizers should make a more concerted effort to ensure safety and not solely maximize profits, e.g. more water fountains, do not oversell, etc.
These people just can't hang..
No disrespect to the family of the deceased, but sometimes ppl just can't hang.
If you're gonna do illegal drugs like e, then u gotta at least buy before hand and test them for "bad" substances. the kits are legal to buy.
possibly a "bad batch", I guess.
need more water fountains?? shit. every event I've been to this last year, the water fountains are actually OFF. wtf. they just want you to spend money on water bottles and Monster.
I went to an LA event in August last year that went from 4pm until about midnight. It was 100 degrees. They RAN OUT OF WATER???!? No juice either bc it was sponsored by Red Bull. I passed out bc there was no re-entry so I couldn't drink any water. Whole new meaning to "crash from an energy drink".
Monster Massive 2008, my girlfriend's cousin got trampled right in front of me by an aggressive crowd. I had to punch ppl to stop them from walking over her.
Hard Summer 2010, ran out of H20 and no juice bc the event is sponsored by RedBull.
I was gonna go to EDC last year bc I had free tix. saw the videos. too many fucking ppl.
I was gonna go to EDC Vegas this year.. fuck that. Promoters/planners don't give a shit about anything except money.
Long Live Small Events!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
